

Having had a nightmare kitchen experience in the past with one of the large chains, it was such a relief this time to have had such a hassle-free and positive experience with AK and Lifestyle Interiors.
We deliberately chose someone local and independent for a more personal, accountable approach and we were not disappointed. AK was straightforward, responsive and available throughout from the initial meeting until everything was in place and as it should be. Everything happened as we were told it would, with no delays or hiccups. The end result is a new kitchen which we are delighted with which was delivered on time and within budget. Lifestyle carried out a complete renovation job on my two bathrooms. As I live in a flat in a busy residential building, it was important that the work was carried out with the minimum of disruption to fellow residents. With my flat also being occupied, keeping all the existing furniture clean while the work was being carried out was also priority. AK and his team did an excellent job. Both bathrooms look superb, and the flat was left spotless after completion. I would thoroughly Lifestyle for any type of renovation project.
I have today sent back the Quality Monitoring Survey and must say that I was extremely pleased with the entire installation of my new kitchen, right through from planning, your initial visit to check my measurements and your helpful suggestions. I was also impressed by the way you were always available to discuss any queries I had during the work. Your contractors were always on time and I had no hesitation on leaving them with my keys and then just getting on with the job. Your suppliers of the worktops took all the necessary care not to make dust and left everything clean and tidy. From the initial design right through to the completion of the kitchen, Lifestyle Interiors took great professional care to ensure that the kitchen was correctly measured, placed on order to meet our requirements, checked that all components were delivered and answered any questions that i had to do with the preparation work for the installation. We are kept informed by email as to the progress of the order and the proposed installation dates. Lifestyle Interiors even visited during the installation to check the quality of the installers work and carried out a final check upon completion. I am thoroughly satisfied with the kitchen and highly recommend Lifestyle Interiors as a company that can be trusted to deliver.
Having bought a house that was stuck in the 1950's we needed a lot of help to bring that modern touch to the property, from gas central heating to a new bathroom and kitchen and replastering the whole house - this was major work. Being first time house owners we needed conssiderable advise and kelp but at the same time had clear ideas of what we wanted from our new home. AK and Sadia struck the perfect balance for us - listening to our ideas, making suggestions where needed and helping us realise our dream home. From taking a wall out and dealing with bureacracy this involved- to choosing what shade of paint would be best - we've had their help and support. We've done the big cowboy suppliers in the past, with the big warehouses and hundreds of phone numbers to call fro one query and we're delighted with the difference "shopping" local has brought. For big decisions we were able to pop down to the shop and chat through in person and for everyday queries we were on email and phone. Not once did we have to chase an item, what a difference from Big Guys who gave us the run around for 2 months for a toilet seat! The end result is a home we designed but that has been created sensibly and practically. Throughout the whole process we've been impressed with AK's and Sadia's commitment to us as a client rather than our wallets! We've been presented with all ranges of options in terms of cost and where we could save money they have been quick to point out what we can do - they've always given us options. The standard of work has been impressive and any small snagging issues we've had were addressed immediately. It's been a real pleasure creating our first home this way - and if we were able to do it all again - we'd go right back to ASQ.

Garage Conversion by Lifestyle Interiors
We commissioned Lifestyle Interiors to convert a garage into a bedroom/shower room during the summer of 2010. The conversion was a success, my mother is now occupying it with great delight, and I have no hesitation in recommending Lifestyle Interiors to anybody else seeking to develop their house.
Here are some of the anxieties I had, and how things worked out in reality:
My First Question. Will the right range and quality of skills be employed?
The Reality: Yes. Sadia and AK bring together all the skills needed: carpenter, electrician, plumber, tiler, plasterer etc. They co-ordinate the project and deal with the local authority building control inspectors. They employ high calibre tradesmen who are honest, reliable and respectable. I was happy to leave my keys in their possession.
My Second Question. Will I have to pay lots of unexpected costs?
The Reality. No. A fixed price is a fixed price, and any additional work or material is agreed as being extra up-front. We agreed staged payments at the outset linked to a schedule of works. Lifestyle Interiors were careful to ensure that the agreed work had been carried out before asking for payment.
My Third Question. Is there value in getting Lifestyle Interiors to do the building and supply the products?
The Reality. Yes. There was good co-ordination between the building, the design and delivery of products.
My Fourth Question. Will the snagging process work?
The Reality. Yes. There were not many snags, but AK acted as an intermediary and made sure they were addressed.
My Fifth Question. Will it be a dreadful experience?
The Reality. No. I work from home so I was dreading having builders in the house disrupting everything. In fact, they proved to be considerate, good humoured and hard working. Everything was fine.
My Final Question. Would I Use Lifestyle Interiors Again?
The Reality. Yes. It is great to have a fixed point on Streatham High Road where I know I can find AK and Sadia. They value their reputation locally and offer a very good, straightforward service. They supply a sound workforce and provide project management. I was more than happy to ask them to do the next stage of work in our house – bringing the bathrooms into the twenty first century!

The personal touch: Sadia and AK both seemed to care about the project, rather than just treating it as merely a business transaction. They made suggestions and gave advice, rather than just getting on with it without thought (for example, Sadia provided good advice on colour schemes/wallpaper choices). I also appreciate the efforts made in dealing with the management company’s solicitors – this was an example of something I feel made Lifestyle by ASQ’s service different (and better) than others.
