A young professional woman
A kitchen extension at the rear of the property with a new kitchen designed and installed and a full house refurbishment including new flooring, carpet walls and ceiling painted, new windows and shutters. An en-suite has been designed and installed for the loft bedroom
A kitchen side and rear extension increasing the size of the kitchen and creating a dining area. Large french doors were installed and a seamless glass roof was fitted, bringing natural daylight and clearly defining the dining area. The exterior brick wall has been left exposed creating a stunning feature in the room.
The white and ivory colour scheme highlights the high quality of the units and appliances such as a state of the art range cooker and a specially sourced bespoke one piece solid wood island worktop. The country style handles add a homely touch which is complimented by the deep ceramic sink and beautiful classic taps.
The white plantation shutters in the living room ensure privacy and light control in a stylish way. As the rest of the house the walls were painted in a light grey colour adding a chic effect. The soft natural colour scheme is fresh and the perfect backdrop for the beautiful artworks and vintage accessories adding character. The original fireplace, cornice and mouldings keep the original feel of the house along with its charms. The original floorboards were striped and painted white to lighten the room and create a relaxed atmosphere.
New carpets have been fitted on the stairs and the first floor landing adding warmth and helping reduce the noice of the original wooden staircase.
The loft bedroom has a Juliette balcony, two Velux windows and a window leading to the roof terrace. New pale grey wooden floorboards compliments the pale grey walls for an elegant feel. The chic retro style is carried out in the en-suite which has been fitted with a white ceramic basin, classic taps and bath taps with shower and WC. The white glossy brick tiles are trendy and compliment the style of the bathroom while adding discreet "London Townhouse" touch. The recessed shower is a generous size with a sleek pivot door.
The overall feel of the house is a refreshing elegance, highlighted by the original features of the house. The traditional style, vintage accessories and fixtures are in keep with the house's character.
