Regent's Park is one of the Royal Parks of London and its situated in the North West London and belongs to City of Westminster Borough.
Regent's Park is located not far from Marylebone and it's considered the largest public spacein London , covering 395 acres of green space. It is very popular for its high quality sport facilities, its gardens and Open-Air theatre during summer.
Probably the best part to visit from Regent's Park is Queen's Mary Gardens, which features more than 30.000 of roses, 400 different varieties, and also the William Andrews Nestfield's Avenue Gardens.
Many sports are played in the park, such as : tennis, rugby, netball, cricket,softball, football and also running, also three children's playground available and boting on the main lake. Also you can find here a cycling club.
The lake offers not only boating recreation, you can also see different birdlife places, specially during summer the lake has many varieties of waterfowls that are waiting for visitors to feed them.
Also Regent's Park is home for London City Zoo which can be found at the north side of the park along with a nice water canal and a running track.
You can easily find the park from using Regent's Park or Baker Street tube stations.
